Which version of EarthBound should I play?

I know there are probably tons of posts asking similar stuff in this sub, but so far I haven't found any posts with the answer I was looking for

I had been wanting to play through the Mother trilogy for some time, so I downloaded the games and started to play through. I played the 25th anniversary edition of Mother 1 since that was the one people recommended the most, and now I'd like to play Earthbound/Mother 2.

However, so far I found three different versions that people recommended to play of Mother 2. The english localized version, the deluxe fan-version (Mother 2 Deluxe) and the MaternalBound version which I think is the localized one but it changes back things from the original that were censored. So which one should I play?
