    Alternate history: PSI was a power that existed since the beginning of humanity, and had been utilized by humans since, instead of having been seized from aliens by George. Which historical figures would be PSI users?

    So PSI, in this model, is a power that is bound to earth rather than an otherworldly power. It isn't necessarily tied to blood, but only certain people are capable of it in varying degrees. Who would you believe is a PSI user, and by extension, what would society make of these people if word broke out that someone was a PSI user?

    For my two cents, a handful of people I would believe as PSI users in this AH would be Nikola Tesla, George Lucas, Charlemagne, and J.R.R. Tolkien.

    I wanted to make a little replica of the Sky Runner, using the trophy model from Smash on the 3DS as a reference, but I don't have a working 3DS. If someone could share some picture of the model from different angles I'd appreciate it.

    A model-rip posted on models-resource.com would be better, but I won't hold my breath.

    Status Effects in EB/Mother 2

    I have only played this game, so I can't speak for the series as a whole, but even all these years later I am still wildly amused by the unique status issues this game delivers. Sure, it has the usual staples like poison, sleep and paralysis, but then there's also aliens shooting lasers that cause night-time stuffiness, being turned into a diamond, sunstroke, and even homesickness. And perhaps the topper of them all is being mushroomized, which not only makes moving around tough and combat even moreso, but can earn you a quick bit of cash by selling it to the local healer.

    You find yourself carrying around wet towels and cold remedies in the midst of your more powerful equipment, and watching as some enemies basically confuse themselves and start helping out Ness and the crew. It's a bit bizarre and trippy, which makes it just about perfect for a game like this. What status effect is your favorite?

    Thoughts on the MaternalBound patch for Mother 2?

    This is a patch that I really liked. The script is closer to the original Japanese text and uncensors the game. It's also a lot more engaging.

    I had this as a SNES repro cart but the anti-piracy measures kicked in when I reached in Fourside and my save file got wiped. Yes, all the anti-piracy stuff is still present in this patch so you need to play this on an Everdrive cart like the SD2SNES, the Super UFO Pro 8 ROM Dumper, or on an Emulator.

    What do you guys think?
