    I just now realized why the black bars on the bottom and top half of the screen are curved; you're looking through the perspective of a Starman.

    So I'm a little new to the game and I just got to Saturn Village. I have a bunch of items that all say "Broken". I have "Broken Machine" "Broken Spray can" "Broken Iron" "Broken air gun" and a "Broken pipe" and I was wondering, do I need these or can I just sell/store them?

    What would happen if Giygas appeared in our universe?

    I know this has probably been discussed many times, but Giygas' abilities seem mostly abstract, and we never see him do a lot of damage, because he was defeated before he could do anything destructive. But what would happen if he appeared in our universe, where Ness wouldn't be there to defeat him? What would he be able to accomplish?

    EarthBound Minecraft Restoration Project

    Back in 2015 or so, I found a Minecraft map that recreates the entirety of EarthBound's world down to the smallest detail. It was amazing and a ton of fun to explore. Fast forward to recently, I decided to check out the map again, and found a few aspects were corrupted from MC updated. The command blocks that teleport you from room to room were obsolete and unusable, and all of the transparent barrier blocks were replaced with orange glass. The download link has lomg since been taken down, and I'm not sure any active user still has one that works.

    My idea is to bring a portion of the community together to help bring back the map to it's former glory and even upgrade it in places with Minecraft's newer features. I would need scouts to find all the different rooms and caves as well as people to help replace command blocks. If I set up a Discord and everything, who would be interested in helping with this project?

    I think EarthBound is better than Mother 3.

    I would rate EB 9.81/10, while M3 9.8/10.

    The reason for this is that Mother 3 is a tad little bit too linear which I don't really like that much and the bosses are too frequent. EarthBound lets you rest and explore around more.

    Another reason is that EB somehow resonates with me more, probably since the game's main theme was childhood and I was 10 when I played it. Mother 3 is more like listening to a really good story (which it is).

    Also, in Mother 3, another problem with one boss after the next makes it harder since you have less time to grind in between, while EarthBound lets you grind a bit more before facing the next boss.

    I heard someone here on reddit say that he didn't like the combat sound system in Mother 3, but I really like it. Downside is that I seldom play with sound on, so I just spam A. :/ Since I very rarely play with sound on, I actually never heard the Twoson theme from EarthBound in game.

    I don't hate Mother 3, but I do think that is slightly inferior to EarthBound.

    While I was in Scaraba, I noticed that there is a rare enemy that spawns called a Criminal Caterpillar. I found that if you stand at the gate to the little town and walk up to the wall, and back down a little bit into the desert area, eventually it will spawn a Criminal Caterpillar. Since you're attacking it from behind because it's scared of you, you have a pretty good chance of killing it without entering battle. Just wanted to share this in case it may help anyone :)
