Posted: 25 Oct 2020 04:01 AM PDT I haven't seen many people (if at all) bring up the idea that giygas' face is actually just a heavily exaggerated version of his face in mother 1. Most fanart depicts giygas as just being this new thing entirely that just sorta exits his body. Some people have flipped one of his forms in EB upside down and said it looks like giegue (I know it's a localization thing, it's just more convenient to say giegue), but again no one seems to bring up the idea that his NORMAL form could just be giegue. The sprite in m1 is so underdetailed due to the scale that they likely couldn't fit nostrils or a mouth on him, and it's not hard to believe he had those features, so why hasn't anyone talked about the idea that giygas' face could be meant to be an older, exaggerated version of his m1 face? Posted: 25 Oct 2020 11:19 AM PDT Now, hear me out before you go racing for the downvote button (or if you already clicked the button, then the comments section): For Mario's anniversary, Nintendo released the first 3 3D Mario games on Switch as a limited-time release on the eShop, and many people were unable to get physical copies before scalpers bought all the stock. For Fire Emblem's anniversary, Nintendo is releasing an official localization of the first Fire Emblem game...as a limited-time release on the eShop, and many people were unable to get the physical collector's edition before scalpers bought all the stock. Maybe I'm the only one seeing a pattern here, but if they're willing to make it hard to get even a Fire Emblem game and only selling it for a few months...who's to say they wouldn't do the exact same thing if they officially localized Mother 3? I for one think it would be a slap in the face to Earthbound fans who had waited so long for a localization only to be told that they are getting it, but if they're not fast enough to buy it digitally (or are unwilling to pay the exorbitant prices set by scalpers who will buy all of the physical copies should they be released), they may never get that chance to get it ever again. idk, maybe I'm just ranting because I'm too poor to buy limited-time-only games. Would you guys still want an official Mother 3 localization if you were told you only had x amount of months where you can purchase it before it gets delisted? [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Oct 2020 11:15 AM PDT I cannot log into Starmen.net without it redirecting me too many times. I have already tried clearing my cookies. Does it have anything to do with me not registering my email? I never got a conformation email and they never responded when I asked them about it. [link] [comments]
