    So I am playing earthbound on the snes classic and I'm up to the point where I'm about to go and beat giygas I just need to know if I can get the other moves like psi rolling or something becuase my only psi attack for ness is psi gaming is this a glitch or have I just missed something out and look really dumb posting this on reddit?

    My ideas for an Earthbound remake.

    Graphics are 3D, looking like clay models, with characters looking like how they do in Smash Ultimate. Music is Remastered with the original soundtrack as an option.

    When filling out names of characters, you can use 10 characters instead of 5.

    You have a run button now. Press Y to run to your heart's content.

    Pokey is changed to Porky for series continuity.

    The Starman Junior is red to tie with Mother 1.

    All enemies have unique overworld sprites.

    No more pressing Talk To to talk to people in the overworld

    No more of the "No Problem Here" message

    Inventory has been expanded from 14 to 20 per character.

    PSI abilities have descriptions in battle when you select them. Mainly so you can see what each healing ability does.

    Equiping the Casey Bat gives you a warning about it's low accuracy.

    The Sound Stone and ATM Card no longer take up inventory slots

    The Town Map is unlocked from the start, is far more detailed, and shows every location.

    The Receiver Phone you get is replaced with the Cell Phone, which can make calls, acting as a auto save option. It uses 5 PSI per call, so it still costs something

    When using items like the Bad Key Machine and Suitcase of Bills, you don't have to select it in your inventory to use it.

    What do you think? What changes would you make?

    Okay this is a pretty weird post but can anybody identify the Mother 3 song that sounds like The Fez by Steely Dan? Everytime I hear this song it reminds me of something from the M3 soundtrack that I just can't identify and it's driving me crazy

    What if Ness was in Mario Kart?

    Because Nintendo added non Mario characters to Mario kart, I think it would be great to add Ness. I mean the track could be Eagleland. Going through Onett,Twoson, Threed, Dusty dunes desert, and finishing in Fourside.

    I have Mother 3 on a flashcart and it runs fine with no noticeable lag to time the hits.

    Was wondering if Nintendo's virtual console makes the hit timings just as good as cart.

    Spoilers for Mother 3

    A major story element in the game is the Magypsies and how their life force is linked with their respective needle. Since the task of guarding the needles is so important, the magic binding the magypsies to their needle protects them from aging, and I believe it would protect their bodies from things that would kill a regular human. Once the last needle is pulled, they disappear and essentially die, or at least, depart with their physical form. We see 6/7 magypsies disappear in the game, but Fassad's happens offscreen. The last time you see him is after you defeat him in his miracle form in the sewers of new pork city. After being too weak to fly away, Fassad falls into the sewer water and sinks too the bottom. I believe that between then and up to the point when Lucas pulls the final needle, Fassad never dies. Instead, he is constantly in a state of agony drowning in sewer water, struggling to get air through his horns. Of course when the final needle is pulled, he is allowed to die, but still there was a long time between the last fassad fight and the pulling of his needle.
