    Mother 3: Lucas' mental health

    Lately I've been wondering about this quite a bit. After Hinawa's death that happened in chapter 1 followed by Claus' disappearance and Flint constantly being away from home to look for him, there is a 3 year timeskip.

    How would the above events have affected Lucas' mental health during that time?

    (Possible TW) Depression, suicidal tendencies, anxiety, loneliness, low self-esteem, etc?

    Considering that the events occurred when Lucas was just 10 and going into his teenage years during the timeskip, coupled with the isolation he experiences for those 3 years due to Flint not being home most of the times, I would think that it likely that he experienced at least some of the issues listed above.

    It would likely have been affected by his relationship with other Tazmily residents was during the timeskip, something I'm not sure of - did he become a shut-in, or did he still have reasonable amounts of interactions with others (perhaps with someone his age like Fuel)?

    We don't get to see much of Lucas' inner thoughts or emotions much after the timeskip, other than that he wished to get stronger. And then we had Tanetane Island, with the unsettling dialogues that are reflections of weaknesses and scars in Lucas' heart. And that was already considered to be toned-down by Itoi. Perhaps the original script would have given a better idea of Lucas' mental status?

    Where am I?

    Im playing Mother 1 and I stopped playing it for a while and now I dont know what to do. The last thing I remember is fighting a star man jr at the zoo. Is there any way I can tell what to do next? Ask questions and please help
