    MOTHER 3 literary connections

    So I've recently been reading the Margaret Atwood novel Oryx and Crake, and there's a remarkable amount of similarities to Mother 3. A Fassad-like character comes to a small town to give them "happiness," in fact the wording is very similar to that of Fassad's dialogue. The book also has chimeras in it- animal hybrids such as Wolvogs or Rakunks. Similar naming convention to Mother 3. There's many other connections, but the final one I noticed that inspired me to make this post was the specific word phantasmagoria. Of course this directly correlates to Phantasmagoric, the song that plays at the end of Mother 3. Has anyone else read the novel and noticed any other connections?

    I'm just about to head into moonside and I'm a little worried about my level Ness and Jeff are both in mid 30s and I can usually deck enemies and bosses with his rockets but im curious how I am I looking level wise? I feel good for now
