    What are your criterias to define a game as a "MOTHER-like"

    For me, "mother-like" games are story-driven RPG ( or subgenre of RPG) with quirky writing, a strong sense of humor, a focus on the characters and a charming universe. The story itself is usually takes some time to reveal itself, and tackles on pretty dark topics. Also what game do you consider to be "mother-like" ? Personally the Mario & Luigi serie and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon fit thoses criterias pretty nicely. Undertale is another game i consider to be "mother-like".

    big thanks to chuggaconroy for inspiring to play earthbound again

    when i first played earthbound i only got to mondo mole's cave and also used cheats, and my emulator deleted my save files and i never had the guts to play it again. but chuggaconroy's videos made me want to play now, and i just finished the entire without even having to use hacks i feel really happy about finishing it yes it was a pain but it was worth it. if you aren't finished keep playing it's fun.

    i think i have bad luck

    everybody says that the manly fishes brother is pretty rare and spawns as a pair, but for me i had him spawn by himself. would you say im lucky or unlucky for that?

    and sorry i didn't snapshot it since it didn't know at the time he was rare but look out since he's quite powerful.

    Grinding for Mother 3

    I would like to ask some advice for Mother 3 in terms of grinding for two locations

    Whats the best place to grind before New Fassad

    And Whats the best place to grind to get PK Ground before The First Masked Man Fight
