What really is the setting of Mother 1

We know that Mother 1 starts in America, and Mother 2 starts in Eagleland.

But Something is wrong here.

One thing that i've never understood is how wrong the geography is

If Mother 1's setting is supposed to be America. Why is there an ocean up north? Why is the arctic areas south of ellay? Is snowman supposed be winters?

let's dissect it and be more specific.

On the map. You can see that to the north there is the ocean. The north parts of the U.S has no ocean, It's just canada. So where is it?

Snowman is south of ellay. Winters and snowman are pretty much the same.

But if Winters is in the U.K. That means snowman is also in the U.K, so Mother 1 takes place in Britain?

The average temperature of Podunk is 15C So it must be a colder city. We don't know the exactly climate. But we can use Onett as a reference, Onett gets snow. So podunk could too.

Now. It is said that "America (in game)" is supposed to be in "southwestern America (irl)" But judging the fact that Podunk is known for it's greenery. Makes it much less plausible to be in dry mountainous area that Southwest America is.

Mother 1 can't take place in the U.K either, as nowhere in the U.K the north is warmer than the south.

If you look at the map. You realise how small it is.

So is mother 1 in the southern hemisphere?

That is EXTREMELY unlikely. (It may be correct. Everything on this list can be correct).

Even looking at map. The ground is very green and cannot be in an arid area. The southern hemisphere is a bit unlikely.

So most of the areas in Mother 1 must be in a rather wet, and cold area. So places like new england, or england etc. But again, isn't true. Because snowman is in the south.

so where could it be?

Again, I need help with a battle.

I got mother 3 yesterday, and am stuck on the Mecha Drago fight. I've tried combos, which only add about 1 or 2 damage. I've ran out of food, so no healing besides Alec's herbs. Is there anything I can do to win, or am I just gonna be stuck?

Btw, I'm using a gameboy advance, and not an emulator.
