Is it just me or does this song sound incredibly similar to the cave of the past music? Posted: 10 Aug 2021 02:01 PM PDT Hey Jude by Don Ellis; the whole song is quite strange but specifically around 5:30 it sounds strangely similar to cave of the past, does anyone else get this? Starting Earthbound today! Tips? Posted: 10 Aug 2021 01:25 PM PDT Obviously I want to go into it as blind as possible so no spoilers please, but any tips out there you all think I should be aware of to make my experience a little better? [link] [comments]

Modding help for friend with phobia Posted: 09 Aug 2021 11:39 PM PDT Hey guys, I have a friend who is interested in playing earthbound. Unfortunately, she has a pretty bad phobia of roaches to where it would be literally too much for her to face the roach enemies in the game, so I was wondering if I could mod the game to take those out or maybe replace them with something else. Can anybody help or point me to where I can get help with this? Wanna do it on my own but don't know where to go to get the info Imma need, any help would be appreciated thanks [link] [comments]
I know that this is a something small, but... Posted: 10 Aug 2021 06:42 AM PDT I have recently defeated Miracle Fassad. All of my party members are level 50. Lucas recently learnt Lifeup Omega and Counter Omega, while Kuma recently learnt Freeze Omega. I just want to know, am I still underleveled? [link] [comments]

Posted: 09 Aug 2021 09:54 PM PDT Ok, I need your help. I've been torturing myself into getting all of the 1/128 ultimate equips. I'm doing this on the 3DS version of Earthbound, by the way. Does RNG Manipulation work on the 3DS version? And if so, is there an ideal way of doing it? Does it involve using save states? If anyone can give me some advice, that'd be great. Posted: 09 Aug 2021 06:32 PM PDT Difficult parts of games aren't fun if they give you some rest stops, don't bombard you with enemies, and give some preparation. You can also have some genuine fun with dungeons that give you a challenge. Bad parts don't do that. Mother 1: I never got through this game due to Duncan's Factory. Every room looks the same and if you're playing the original version, enemy after enemy attacks you. I'll just wait for Mother Encore to get the experience. Earthbound: Peaceful Rest Valley starts you off with just Ness. Sure there is a town nearby with tons of items to stock up on such as Teddy Bears and burgers, but it won't really help you with what's up ahead. So many ufo's and exploding trees that the game lags, the enemies are punching bags that hit hard, and the area is just very long. Another area that bothers me is the Pyramid. This is a long, challenging dungeon where if one of your party members die, there is no point of backtracking with surviving. Better to just commit Sudoku if you run out of PP or healing items. Not a bad dungeon, just a huge difficulty spike before it cools down after. Mother 3: The underwater section. I dread this section every time I start a playthrough of this game. You move as slow as molasses, have to stop at the mermen and wait ten seconds before you can play again, and you have barely enough time to get to the next merman. Oh, and if you're not precise at the millisecond, you go ALL THE WAY BACK. An absolutely awful rpg stage and a clear example of bad game design. What are your least favorite parts of the series?
