    The Mother Fandom, and Their pessimism

    For the longest time, for the past two decades, the mother fandom has exuded a large amount pessimism.

    They feel as if their requests will fall on deaf ears at Nintnedo, most giving up on the possibility of Mother being picked up once again. whether that be a Mother 1 remaster, some spin off game, or the infamous unanimous want of a Mother 3 localization.

    But the fandom's pessimism will ultimately be our downfall. The Mother fandom may of been small in the west in its start, and that's where the biggest push was. Back then all fans really wanted was a rerelease of earthbound, and many even doubted of its possibility for the same reason modern Mother fans have for the "unlikelihood" of a localization of Mother 3.

    We may of been small then, but look at us now. The popularity of EarthBound has increased far beyond what we would ever expect. We got the first game localized.

    Imagine what all of us could do today, standing together for a common goal like the older fans did in the past. Oddity, which was once a mother fans game, was making headlines on twitter and gaming news sites as "mother 4" like it's original title.

    Xeno fans, who were vastly smaller than us, was able to get xenobalde chronicles localized in a year due to their stronger dedication and strides.

    If we ultimately give up now, not only will the game we love fade into obscurity, we will be forgotten and this fandom will die when it was just truly born.

    So i recently booted up my SNES Classic after a half year and started my earthbound playthrough. I have no idea what i am supposed to do. I have probably 17 hours in there and am in Dalaam with Ness being level 51. Any idea?
