    Playing Mother 3 in Japanese further proves what a great game it is

    A few days ago (well I ordered it a month ago, it arrived a few days ago) I got a legitimate Japanese Mother 3 cartridge just so that I legally own the game and don't feel bad about having a ROM. Since it's the only game I actually have for my new GBA, I decided to play it anyway, and I'll say, being in a language I don't understand does not make it any less impactful. Tomato once said that the delivery of the game made it easy to understand what was happening, and I've experienced that first hand. I've been able to quote most of the game from memory despite not having played it in a while, and it's really an enjoyable experience. Itoi and the rest of the developers really knew how to make this game have an impact.

    i know it was a while ago, but i had a vivid memory of nintendo posting a video on its youtube channel talking about the anniversary and having it edited to make it look like mother 3 was coming to the switch. in hindsight i definitely hallucinated it on that fact alone, but then the video morphed into an obvious parody of a localization announcement bc it got progressively shitposty. the only statement i remember was bruh ness on a bike. i was pretty damn certain that it was a legit nintendo video, but now id just be happy to know someone knows what im talking about. please validate me out help me find the video.
