    Having trouble with the Grapefruit Falls area

    So I think I've run into a problem. When I get to Grapefruit Falls, the text box says "....." instead of "say the password!". I can't figure out how to progress and waiting doesn't help.

    Tips for starting Earthbound?

    I got curious the other day and then decided to see if there was an EB emulator (which there was!) I've watched an lp of the game twice, but otherwise I'm a complete noob. I've just gotten to Onett, and I have the Mr Baseball cap and the Tee-ball bat. Any advice? And can I get/recover pp this early?

    It seems like sound battle is NECESSARY to beat the game as I struggled vs the very first few bosses. I'm using retroarch nside balanced, so that may be throwing me off. But the sound is pretty good and the game runs great. However, I can't get this mechanic down. I love the rolling HP bar from earthbound, but not this.
