    The only way i have an idea to play is to wait and hope it comes to the snes virtual console on switch but is there any other way to play because i don't think it will come to it.

    What age is Ness?

    I've been told he's 12 in the japanese version, and 13 in the USA version. At the end of "Mother 2," (japanese version) he's apparently 13 at the end of the game. However, in "Earthbound" (usa version) he's 14 at the end of the game. Is the Japanese version the correct age, or is the USA version the correct age?

    Mother 3 Fan Translation

    I found a fan translation of Mother 3 on a game boy advance cartridge for sale and I'm thinking about getting it but one problem is that I don't know if I can trust it. The reviews are good but I'm still skeptical. Should I trust it?

    EarthReBound or Maternalbound Redux? First-time player looking for a hack to smooth out the experience.

    Hey all. Just as the title says, never played Earthbound before, interested in a hack to use to enhance the game. Before anyone says to play Vanilla first and then a romhack, the thing is that I'm pretty unlikely to replay a game like this within the foreseeable future, so if I'm gonna play it now I want it to be the most enjoyable experience possible. I've picked out two candidates:

    https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/4964/ This one seems to be a pretty major overhaul, with a redone script and a ton of quality of life adjustments.

    https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/4121/ This looks like a more general quality of life improvement patch. Any script changes sound quite minor going by the description.

    I'm open to any other patches though
