    The Absolute Safe Capsule is not Absolutely Safe + It's horrifying fate; Even more ways to break it inside the MOTHER Universe.

    I was looking at this thread made by u/ethovoid https://www.reddit.com/r/earthbound/comments/c4r5ms/why_the_absolutely_safe_capsule_isnt_absolutely/ (Which is Archived which is why im making a new thread now) And i noticed there was some points missing so im adding my own.

    Number One:

    Time Travel, as we already know with the Plot of Mother 3, Time Travel is indeed possible, as Porky used it to travel all-around before coming to the Nowhere Islands.

    Why is this important you ask? If someone had their hands on a Time Machine, they could travel back to a time before Porky was ever trapped in the Absolutely Safe Capsule.

    Number Two: Food & Water.

    The two things that most living things need to survive, within a week without it, you would be dead!

    The Capsule is absolutely safe, you cannot open it ever again once it is closed, therefore it wouldn't be absolutely safe, but that doesn't mean the person inside is absolutely safe.

    Porky Minch, an Immortal and Unkillable Person, he doesn't need food and water, sure he'll starve for the rest of eternity, but he'll live, thats the only reason it works.

    If any other person were to be trapped inside, they wouldn't be alive within a week or more, it wouldn't be Absolutely Safe then.

    Number Three: Air and Muscle Rot

    A. Because The Absolutely Safe Capsule is absolutely safe, it wouldn't let mere air that could carry Bacteria and other potentially harmful things inside The Capsule, but that brings another problem.

    Once you breathed all the air inside the capsule, you would asphyxiate to death. Unless you were Porky, which once again, he is immortal and unkillable, he'll be fine.

    B. The Interior of The Absolutely Safe Capsule doesn't look very big, there is little to no room to move around, you would just be sitting on that chair for the rest of eternity, nonetheless the lack of food, water OR air.

    If you managed to somehow survive all that, or at the very least delay it, your muscles would start to rot from the lack of movement and would degrade.

    Number Four: Self Harm

    This one should be a bit obvious, sitting around for The Rest Of Eternity without anything to do is going to cause you to become crazy, eventually you would try to find an escape in any way you can, death is a way out even if its horrific. Sorry that i don't have much to say on this one.

    Welp Thats it for why it's not absolutely safe, i'll leave my thoughts on why i think its the most horrible fate you can have.

    Imagine, your at your final legs, you have no other choice, you decide to use a experimental capsule you tricked Dr. Andonuts into making, without thinking of what could go wrong, you hop in.

    Only to realize, there is no exit, and its locked, your trapped now. You gain a thought in your head, a small memory. "This is The Absolutely Safe Capsule, it cannot take any damage whatsoever, you will be protected from anything and everything!"

    There is no hope to escape, Nothing can break it, You can't leave, Your locked inside. For the Rest of Eternity, you sit there, and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait... Your enemies have already faded to dust, their ash now.

    you wait some more...

    The Sun goes Supernova, Planet Earth is gone and destroyed, turned to ash just like your enemies...

    You wait some more...

    Planets collide into eachother, Black holes pull you in, your unaffected. After all, it is The Absolutely Safe Capsule.

    You wait some more...

    Nothing is left, except for you and The Capsule.

    All your efforts are in vain, you have nothing except your own insanity to keep you comfort.......

    There is no exit, and i must leave.

    Official MOTHER novel: Chapter 1 sample translation

    A long time ago I translated the official MOTHER novelization by Saori Kumi, but never uploaded the full contents of my work as I found it quite embarrassing (not only were there many areas that had me stumped, forcing me to save them for later, but the overall prose was messed up: it turns out my translator's brain works separately from my writer's brain).

    But recently I've gone over Chapter 1 with a fine-toothed comb, so here, have a sample chapter! I may clean up the other nine chapters and upload them if I can find the time.

    After finally completing the trilogy, I can say one thing I have personally noticed with all games is, the end comes so suddenly. I don't know if this is a design choice or if I enjoyed the game so much to just forget my sense of time, but there is that.

    Also, if you didn't spoil the masked man fight, did anyone else expect an actual boss fight? I guess I shouldn't have considering all mother games didnt really have a finally boss. Ebb was probably the hardest in my opinion.
