    I have a small YouTube channel where I remaster various soundtracks of different video games.

    I've been up for a few hours and am just thinking of random stuff. Tell me what you guys would think about a Super Mario Bro's OG hack where we get characters from Mother and Earthbound. Replace Mario and Luigi with Ness and Lucas. All the villains mushrooms, turtles ect are replaced by the enemies from EB/Mother. Replace Bowser with different sanitary bosses and bosses from M1,EB & M3. What do you guys think?

    when you start the fight ness crowns and he uses nesses moves, hitting him hurts ness. because that IS ness in the flesh. but after this that crowning baby is gone after a brief flushing or falling sound. and giygas remains beyond the entrance of the devils machine. the rules of the fight change after that. that is because when you show up to the fight mother is in labor, ness is passing you on his way out and giygas is JUST about to be born.

    "you cannot grasp the true form of giygas's attack" because hes not attacking, mother is in labor and is pushing note the animation of the attack is a pink tunnel that flys passed you and almost never works on anyone, thats because its working on giygas.

    you dont do anything to giygas here you just fight pokey but the head still goes away and giygas can then be seen beyond the entrance.

    giygas is a sociopath born with evil in his mind and heart. he pleads for his life saying he feels good and he is happy which is common amongst sociopaths to fake or act out emotions to get out of trouble.

    i think this could go deeper and its been awhile since my last play through of earthbound so this is mostly a rough draft.

    you have a connection with your brother throughout the whole game when you reach the sanctuaries. are you connecting with ness's memories? or his brothers from the timeline he was aloud to live. every sanctuary has the theme of ness or someone being a baby the last one giving you the message that you feel like youre being watched by your younger self. id like to dig more in to the sanctuaries and any allusions to nesses memories for more evidence of this theory.
