| Question about earthbound 64/mother 3 Posted: 10 Oct 2020 12:50 PM PDT As far as I'm aware a development cartridge (similar to the ones at spaceworld which played on retail units) existed during the development of mother 3 for gba. https://earthboundcentral.com/2010/12/interview-with-a-mother-3-debugger/ mentioned here. I don't expect that this would have been simply "thrown out" but I don't imagine that there would be any use for it after the release of mother 3. So my question is, has anybody tried simply asking for it? Have game preservationists tried to obtain it directly? Could it be purchased from them for an absurd enough amount of money?
