    If someone likes Nier Automata does that stop you from liking Earthbound?

    Kind of weird question, I know. But let me explain.

    So I had always wanted to play Earthbound, but me being crazy about physical copies I had to play it off the original hardware. I even got the digital one for WiiU through Club Nintendo years back and just never played it. I always wanted to get a copy of the cartridge, but it has just been so expensive recently.

    When Nier Automata come out I had been pretty excited for this, I got the collector's edition which came with a little statue, and I had even gotten a signed poster at a convention from Yoko Taro the director, along with a hanging poster I had snagged from Gamestop. I had all this stuff displayed since it just seemed cool. Personally wasn't as big into the game as I had been expecting, still a great game but I preferred the first one.

    Flash forward a bit and I start dating this woman, and she is a massive Earthbound fan. Probably her favorite game of all time. So I figure at this point I should finally get around to playing it. I do play my digital copy and no surprise, I really enjoy the game a lot. It did become one of my favorite games, up there in my top 10 for sure. And I would tell her as much, that I appreciated finally being pushed to play it and how much I really enjoyed it.

    But at this point was where things went bad. She started to say how I am not an Earthbound fan, that I am a Nier Automata fan and she is the Earthbound fan. Which only really confused me as I said that I liked Nier Automata but it wasn't a favorite of mine. She kept pointing out how she had an Earthbound collection of stuff and that I had Nier stuff. Which honestly I even still had some Mother series items as well, not like I only had a Nier collection. It got to the point that whenever I brought up the series she had to remind me I was not a fan of it and that she was. She would keep going on about how Nier was my game and Earthbound was hers and basically how mutually exclusive the two games were. That I couldn't be a fan of Earthbound since I was already a Nier fan.

    I've asked around before and all of my friends are so confused and don't see how she could have thought that. I don't see it either, but I figured I would ask people here if there is any merit to this argument at all. Do Nier Automata and Earthbound have anything in common that liking one excludes you from being a fan of the other? I can't help but feel there is nothing between the two games and she only felt jealous that I really enjoyed it and she had to have it be HER thing. That even though she showed me Earthbound, it had to be her secret club and I could not be a part of it. Would other people agree with me, or am I in the wrong here?

    Carbon dog makes no sense to me

    Lets get down to business.

    Carbon takes millions of years to turn into diamonds. yet a pre adolescent kid with 20 explosive / bullet like objects can turn it into a diamond instantly.

    The only thing that can scratch a diamond is another diamond. you dont have to kill diamond dog by making it diamondize itself, so that alone makes no sense.

    CARBON IS A DOG AND NOW ITS A DIAMOND IT SHOULD BE DEAD ITS DIAMONDIZED

    I think blowing up a diamond would leave just a bit of a scrape wouldn't it contradicting the "only a diamond can scratch a diamond" thing again

    Been progressing and have reached the point where you're supposed to go to Moonside but the dude behind the counter refuses to move. Am I supposed to talk to someone else? Already did the Everdred thing so wondering if the game glitched on me.
